Keeping worker and the public safe is key to any business. With aluminium towers being left erected during the day and overnight there is a lot of time for unauthorised access to your tower. With Euro Towers Securi-Panel you provide a barrier to the base of your tower restricting access to the tower to the public and any unauthorised users. Along with access the Securi-Panel also helps prevent people from tampering with your build and removing parts from your build. The system incorporates a coded lock on the door which can be shared with workers meaning that there is no risk to losing keys on site. Roger Verallo Euro Towers Managing Director is a member of the British Standards Institution BSI B514/24 panel that was responsible for the drafting of both PAS 250 and subsequently BS 8620.
Both PAS 250, and now BS 8620, ensures that podium products which conform to their requirements, meet the high levels of strength, stability and safety required.
Whilst standards are not enforceable in law, they should be regarded as best practice, and any Podiums currently in use will, providing they are in undamaged and usable and conform to the requirements of the Working at Height regulations (WAHR) 2005, canalways be used and will not become illegal at any date in the future.
Members of the drafting panel included representation from PASMA, the Health and Safety Executive, Hire Association Europe, safety professionals, independent design experts and construction industry user groups.
